Trump (and probably Ryan sadly) desperately wants to cut spending on health care for the poor (masked of course, but you can't "save" 900 billion, without cutting medical services subsidies for the impecuious), to finance tax cuts. It's just "vomitous" and horrible. The word here is EVIL.  No other word will do.

The burden of proof is on the Pubs to demonstrate that somehow, there is a magic wand out there, to get the same level of health care (we can toss this jive it will be at once hugely less expensive and hugely better that Trump spews out in the trash can I think with some confidence), at hugely less cost. That burden to my knowledge has not been met. My former party has crossed the River Styx. Where the F is its conscience? Sad!

Not providing adequate medical care for the sick (those with pre-existing conditions), of limited means, is shocking to the conscience, and voting for this evil bill I hope ends the careers of many. I am just amazed how this is evolving. Anyway, if my congressman Faso votes for this, he's done. He voted for Ryancare and got burned. We shall see if he learned his lesson.

The f'ing thing was not even scored. They just did it. It's sort of like Obamacare redux in that way - you need to vote for it, to find out what's in it. Even if I loved the idea of bankrupting folks who can't pay their medical bills, this kind of just doing it, without all the facts at hand, is an automatic no from me. Yeah, I understand, things needed to be rushed to push through a highly problematic tax bill, that is going to slash revenue (and balloon the deficit), and reduce progressively, but I digress. Pelosi was right on that one - this really is more of a tax bill. The pesky health care thing, and the attendant subsidies, just needed to be chopped away at, as a part of the process of reducing government expenditures - to the sick poor.

Let's just hope that the people who die in the next few years are disproportionately Trump voters instead of people who didn't vote for any of this.

nana, don't get nasty, trump voters have had pretty hard lives to start with and are getting screwed the most now anyway, in places lik AK/WV, etc.....no need to wish for deaths.

Yeah. Let's tone this down guys. Let's hope the Senate guts this monster that gutted the idea of providing adequate medical care to all.

Hopefully we can build the wall, ban abortion, ban gay marriage, deport all the illegals and get rid of the anchors babies! USA!
