What is to prevent voters who voted last week in SC in the GOP primary in SC, to vote today in the Dem SC primary?

State law.

Ya, but what prevents cheating?  Or are the same precincts used, and you are crossed off the list if you voted last week?

Well, let me translate this:

Obama: Should do well in the area's around Columbia, Charleston and Myrtle Beach, and the area's in between them. He also should do well in the southern part of the state by the coast.

[Blacks]

Clinton: Should do well along the Atlantic Coast line. [Old white people, with some Yankee transplants mixed in trying to get warm]

Edwards: Strengths in Northern part of the state, in Spartanbug too. [Poorer white people]

The cat is out of the bag. As to best commander in chief it is Obama up by 12%. 47-35-18. That is probably close to the exit poll result of who folks voted for.

White men Edwards 44, Clinton 28%, Obama 27%

White women Clinton 42%, Edwards 35%, Obama 22%

Clinton gets second. Edwards has no black support.

Obama's SC manager was Steve Hildebrand. He's the same man who delivered the GOTV effort in Shannon County that gave Tim Johnson his 524 vote win. This guy is really good.

One thing I admire about Hildebrand is that he just said no to handing out walking around money - a first on the Dem side in SC.

Walking-around money?

That is what it is called. You purchase the black preachers with consulting contracts, and hire their folks to get out the vote. Clinton paid one preacher $165,000 in "consulting" fees who has a church in Columbia with 11,000 members.  It was all laid out in a WSJ article. Hilbebrand just said no, and thus the article. It was another "change" in a "change" election.
