Lol I always predicted Wolf would cruise, but with Fetterman and Western PA behind him, he's going to crush Wagner.

Not sure that I see voters being on the Governor's side. I mean we all saw what happened in PA during 2016. Wagner really appeals to the Trump base and blue collar workers so I think turnout will be down for both parties. Wolf hasn't really done much to distinguish himself and is vulnerable. However, Fetterman seems to be the true wildcard.

Welcome to the politics of Pennsylvania! You clearly haven't paid attention long enough. PA does not oust incumbents unless they're immensely unpopular, e.g.: Tom Corbett and Rick Santorum. I don't see how Scott Wagner has any more appeal to the PA blue collar workers than Mitt Romney did. I also don't understand what makes you think Wagner even has a chance to compete with the blue collar vote against Fetterman. Not distinguishing yourself is not going to cause you to lose In Pennsylvania, especially if you're an Incumbent D.

Speaking of which, what was it that Corbett did that made him so unpopular? I didn't follow politics back then and especially not PA politics.

He cut millions to education, he also lost a lot of support during the Penn State Sandusky scandal where he accepted the NCAA sanctions and the Freeh report. That hit him hard in his Penn State Alumni support. (Yes, Atlas, in Pennsylvania, Penn State alumni do matter and politicians always target them when running here), he was also viewed as a very ineffective and weak governor, because he was.

Based on approval ratings, Wolf isn't as popular as you would think. PA lost many jobs and the same coalition that delivered Trump a victory may come out again.

Based on approval ratings, he's popular with more than half the state. And PA hasn't experienced a single month of negative job growth since Wolf took office.

I thought the Trump economy was doing great?

How would the GOP benefit from higher unemployment?

No. During Wolf's tenure since 2014, PA has lost jobs.

That's not true.

Why are you on this thread spreading things that are obviously false?

And now the desperate Pennsylvania GOP is attacking Fetterman for...using the word “jagoff”:

That's one way to lose the Western PA vote (Talking about PAGOP)

Really funny ad by the Wolf/Fetterman campaign, one of the best I've seen this cycle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TouDW2I0S-w

This is marvelous.

Man, I love it when a campaign ad actually feels really genuine.

This. This felt genuine.

I was fairly neutral on Wolf until he's made clear that he hated Stack and loves Fetterman.

Opposites attract! I have a good feeling this is going to be a better relationship than Obama/Biden.

That video is all over social media. The last I checked, it racked up almost a million views on Facebook when shared by Now This.

There is no question that Wolf is going to improve on his 2014 margin. Wagner is proving to be a much weaker candidate than Corbett was for his reelection campaign.

*sigh*

Wagner has now threatened to "stomp" on Tom Wolf's face with golf spikes-

Wagner is going to do worse than Barletta. I do see a visible amount of people in NE PA splitting their tickets for Barletta/Wolf.

Pennsylvania isn’t known for split ticket voting. Besides, the polls have shown Wolf and Casey at pretty much the same level of support.

The fact that the Wolf campaign is sitting on sexual harassment and philandering scandals against Wagner goes to show you how confident they are.

Wait, Wagner is facing a sexual harassment scandal?

... Apparently Diamond and Silk are campaigning for Wagner in Philly on the 26th... this has to be the most poorly run GOP campaign this cycle-

My hardcore Republican Soft-Trump supporter father just called me today and said he can't support Wagner. He wants to write-in Fetterman.

Hoping we get a last Franklin and Marshall + Muhelenberg poll. Frustrated that we haven't gotten a new poll in a MONTH.

I'd imagine Wolf's handling of Pittsburgh would prop him up.
