How could Democrats win back "Reagan Democrats" in Michigan and the midwest rustbelt in 2020?

Some of these former democrats were part of the Old Democrat Coalition of white catholic immigrants and blue collar catholics and union workers.

Has the Democrat coalition completely abandoned the white catholic blue collar worker for Millenials and Hispanics?

There seems to be a lot more white catholic voters in the midwest and north, than in the sunbelt swing states.

I sort of think Cuomo could be successful winning back a lot of midwest Catholics in Michigan and Ohio, and PA which have a lot of Italians.
