Sleeper race. Brown hangs on because of environment, but she would have been toast if Clinton or Cruz were president.

Why would she be toast if Cruz were president?  Isn't it the same dynamic, basically, her being from the opposite party as the president makes her safer?  Or do you think a Cruz midterm would turn out significantly better for the GOP than a Trump midterm?
