With Greitens imploding this doesn’t make sense, MO-GOV is right there for him.

Yeah he's still quite young. He can afford to wait until he is elected to a higher office.

Maybe he's going to carpetbag to Iowa and run against Joni Ernst? She's up for re-election in 2020...

Brown had some connection to New hampshire at least
Kander has none to Iowa plus it would be hell of a uphill climb Ernst is more popular than Grassley if Kander wanted to carpet bag he would run for something in his birth state of kansas

The democratic field in 2020 is going to be huge.
I can't see who i'm going to support as of now. I like some aspects of Biden and Sanders but both have there problems plus the new ones are untested and I have to see how they operate in 2020. I would really like to see some support for a public option over single payer but still if they support single payer Its not like I wouldn't support them in a GE.
