No. The GOP base in 2016 could barely be bothered to vote for white Hispanics like Cruz/Rubio let alone black men. John James would have just as much success as Ben Carson and Hermain Cain.

LOL, for how smart you act you really misunderstand the GOP base's alleged "racism."  The racism of the GOP has always been more subtle and based on stereotyping than the blatant, literal belief in racial superiority that the Democrats of the 1860s or the Dixiecrats of the 1940s espoused.

You must be so proud of your Party for upholding the standards of “subtle” racism Lord Thomas The Younger.

Your trolling used to be funnier than just making shlt up, LOL.  I didn't mean to sound proud of "my party" (as if I make any decisions about it, haha), and I didn't.

Who’s trolling? I at least identify with a Party I agree with on the issues.

On a website dedicated to political analysis, I provided my own critique of some that I thought was lazy.  You quoted my post, put some words in my mouth to try to agitate me and/or make a joke out of my post and moved along.

Seems like trolling. Wink

I mean how else am I suppose to interpret this strident defense of a Party (who you don’t agree with on 80%+ of policy issues) by claiming that they’re not vile open racists but just subtle racists?

Socialist really don't understand the republican base. Otherwise if they did they would realize the Republican base is favorable to Cruz and Paul in addition to Donald Trump.

You endorsed Joe Arpaio.

There is an element of truth to what he’s saying. The GOP is all about doing everything they can to signal to white grievance racist voters that they’re the party for them: ranting about the libs taking down Confederate traitor statues, whipping up the Republican base over black people kneeling, etc. They’re generally smart enough to avoid saying the n-word explicitly, though I doubt more than 10 Republicans would be that bothered if that alleged rape of the Donald saying the n word ever came out

No doubt. But it’s odd hearing this strident defense of a Party coming from someone who seemingly only votes Republican because atlas Dems sometimes clown on him.

Enlightened Centrist is just talking like how an average Orange County resident does.
