In the US-politics context, I think immigration is a very unimportant issue.



Yeah, I don't quite have the visceral, emotional reaction to immigration as an issue the way others seem to.

To be quite honest, I also experience the same meh feeling towards abortion as immigration - there are two really emotional poles, each with reasonably decent arguments (assuming good faith arguments are made) for their position and I'm just over here to the side thinking hey! these are both somewhat persuasive arguments and I don't really think or care enough about either to form a solid opinion.
