Don't generally care about sports, but a few of my friends and family members like baseball, so I follow it half-heartedly.

MLB

2019: Nationals over Astros (W)
2018: Red Sox over Dodgers (W)
2017: Astros over Dodgers (W)
2016: Cubs over Indians (W)
2015: Mets over Royals (L)
2014: Giants over Royals (W)
2013: Red Sox over Cardinals (W)
2012: Giants over Tigers (W)
2011: Cardinals over Rangers (W)
2010: Giants over Rangers(W)

Don't really remember/care about any years before that.

Looking at this list, I'm realizing I have a very good history of rooting for the winning teams. If you're a Bay Area native who hates LA and Texas but likes Boston, you've had a pretty good decade of baseball.

UPDATE: My streak continues. While I typically root against the Dodgers, I hate the state of Florida far too much to root for Tampa over a California team. Also, a friend of mine who is a Dodgers fan had a rough year, so I was hoping they'd pull through to cheer him up.
