I can't believe her aspirations made her this impatient. She's quite the rising star in the GOP, would be disappointing for them if she looses and becomes irrelevant. She's already given up her house seat to a democrat, the Tucson GOP bench is pretty weak.

Has McSally even declared yet? She could still back out.

She could and should. However it appears she's grown impatient waiting on the Main seat and is basically willing to risk everything including her competitive seat (which she would likely win again if she ultimately decided to run for reelection) to the democrats
