Maternal Grandfather was born in 1911 - Taft was president. The other 3 grandparents were born when Woodrow Wilson was president.
That would have put them as first possibly voting in the 1932 presidential elections for 3 of 4 and 1936 for my maternal grandmother. I was not aware of their politics.
My father was born when FDR was president, and my mom when Truman was in the White House.
First presidential elections for both would have been 1964. I have not asked them who they voted for.
My wife's father and mother were born in the Showa era (Hirohito) coinciding with the same two presidents respectively.
I believe her maternal grandmother was born during the Taisho era while Coolidge was president - though I am not certain she may have been born in the early Showa era (Coolidge in office here). Definitely her other 3 grandparents were from the Taisho era from 1912 to 1925 from Taft, Wilson, Harding, and early Coolidge.
