I've always felt sorry for Harold Stassen. He tried on I believe 8 or 9 elections to become the Republican nominee. He reminded me of guys like Debs or Bryan. Try as you might, he just couldn't win.

Yes they do. I'm a fan of that site, and found this place through Politics1. I think the party is going down the crapper very unceremoniously, but, that's politics. Too bad *Sigh*.

Yes, I know. Although, when they split for the first time back in 1896 over silver, One group The "Narrow Gougers" just focused on the prohibition issue. The "Broad Gougers" adopted a populistic platform.
