It can be argued that this was intended to be a motion:
If there are no further comments after 24 house I believe that this version should be put to a vote.

Since there were no objections (and this has been set by precedent, ftr) it is completely fine for him to go ahead and start the vote.

Hmmm. Certainly that could be accepted under interpretation. Anyway my main point was just pointing out the vote is 48 not 72 hours.
And apologies if I was overly blunt in my manner, I didn't intend to be rude. It's completely fine as a new speaker to make a mistake and I merely intended to politely point out a mistake.

I'd like to see him try. No sergeant-at-arms is going to get in the way of my random commenting on random legislation in random legislatures.
