There was a primary.

With basically some guys down the street running for it... IIRC None of these came in 1st.

None came in 1st, but Nevada law means that if None comes in 1st, then 2nd place gets nomination.

I wasn't trying to make that argument.  I was pointing out that even with the general edge given to women candidates that she's still losing badly.  She was regarded as a serious candidate.

Oklahoma results are expected at 8:25 and Mississippi at 8:30, FWIW.

Based on numbers the New York Times pulled from a hat, and not actually anything that can be reasonably estimated.
