Moulton’s super young. 2020 is too early for him but I could see him being groomed for the job as time goes on. He’ll probably get there one day, even if that day isn’t for twenty years.

Which again, is a dodge.  Saying you “have no plans” doesn’t mean that you’re not going to end up doing it.

He would be a terrible general election candidate. he's too "elitist" and way too anti-gun for the rust belt and Midwest.

I mean I wouldn't call Murphy elitist he comes from a relatively middle class background is one of the poorer Senators but he does come from a 'elitist' state. I do agree his gun control obsession makes him a poor candidates for the type of states Dems need.


Murphy is young enough that he's got some chairmanships and such in his future. He's probably going to end up in the Dem Leadership in the senate too. He'd be dumb to give that up
