Wasn't George Wallace pretty much a segregationist (and socially conservative) Bernie Sanders?
This isn't as absurd as it seems on the surface. Wallace was fairly progressive on economic issues.

...He was conservative to the core.

Let's dispel the fiction that Dixiecrats were "economically progressive."  Even during the New Deal, Southern Democrats aided the GOP in opposing FDR's programs.  Most of the Democrat party bosses who controlled the region didn't like black or white poors.
Yeah, Wallace sounds paleocon there - but he became more economically left by the 80s, when he supported universal healthcare.
A fairly decent amount of paleoconservatives including myself back single payer actually.

why though?

because their voters are usually poor and bitter

There is nothing absurd nor ignorant about that post.

i'm curious as to why you find that a reasonable idea?

i don't think height can predict someone's political beliefs in any way

He must have seen internal polls that really spooked him.

Actually I believe since he came to realization that he won’t be able to do entitlement reform he basically lose interest for the job since that’s probably the reason he took it in the first place

he was smart for wanting to destroy the Social Security pyramid scheme. It's sad that the Republicans were too cowardly to do it.

Really going to take the time to post HillGoose's posts in here...?

That one was even awful by his standards.

its true!

Does anyone really think Clinton would take us to war with Russia?

I didn't think Clinton or Trump would stand up to Russia, which is why I voted for McMullin lol

This is a very good thing.

See, I along with millions of other Americans, get the impression that America used to do things more well and more efficiently. So when we see that things ran smooth, then they changed and suddenly run badly, we then find ourselves wanting to reverse those changes.

It's not just regulations. It's the entire globalist-state that began sometime when I was super young in the 1990s.

Many rules, policies, regulations, regarding business, health care or other venues stems back to "fear of being sued." This is why we must also re-evaluate lawyers, frivolous lawsuits, and other malicious prosecutions that lead to paranoia in industry, medical fields and business. Remove the 'fear of being sued" and soon you will have a dramatic drop in over-regulations.

'in the 1990s'

dude America has been the most litigious society on Earth for its entire existence lol

I'll regard his passing the same as he did the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi deaths he lustfully extolled.

Seems that far-left edgelords celebrating the deaths of those they disagree with has become a common theme on Atlas recently.
He never cared about the lives of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis, why should I care about his life?

Iraq was SAVED. Millions of Iraqi lives were saved by the war.

Make no mistake, the economy was a lot better back in 2009 - when The Media suddenly started complaining about how horrible it was.

lmao. well the anti-Semitic media did kind of blow the recession out of proportion in order to criticize Goldman Sachs, but the economy did dip back then pretty hard. It's definitely better today.

they should find a way to make it work because that's always possible.

If God was in any way good (which he isn't) aborted babies would have the chance to get even by torturing their parents in the afterlife. They would get the chance at self-defense they never got in life, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

well I mean if you were an aborted baby wouldn't you want to be able to get revenge and a shot at self defense?

it just seems like common sense to me

What percentage of Democrats believe that homosexuals are "born that way" even when there is no scientific evidence to make that assertion?  What is the likelihood that such beliefs are, in fact, narrative-driven for political reasons?

Disgusting. What is the likelihood that Fuzzy ignoring myriad of scientific research and human experience is, in fact, narrative-driven for bigoted reasons and missing the times when they were making homosexuals miserable and abusing their human rights?

Also, anyone who claims to be pro-life yet opposes adoption rights for gay couples is a massive hypocrite.

I wonder if most evangelicals think gay couples giving a child a good life is worse than abortion.
