No, racist.  The fair play option would have been to enslave the whites under the ownership of the newly freed blacks.

By the way, Black History Month is a feeble attempt to emeliorate the enormous white-surpemacist racism which is dominant in American culture and political life.  To call this minute gesture in favour of blacks racist, within a system which favours whites massively is absurd.

It is kind of a dumb thing. However, imagine if we had an all white television network like BET. It'll be White Entertainment Television (WET) and the subject of many jokes, ony because it is still politically correct to make fun of white people.
