I mean not only in the lottery, but online-gaming, poker or just any sort of thing as well where you can win a prize.

If you won a car or something non-monetary, just look up or guess what the price would be (normally option 2-5).

PS: If you inherited a large amount of money or non-monetary, it does NOT count. Only winning something by "luck" or "skills".

...

As for me, I have once won about 800€ in the lottery, which is something like 1100$.

I´m not playing in the lottery very often, maybe every 3 months or so.

But I never won a jackpot yet ... Tongue

What about you ? Anyone very lucky among us ?

On the other hand, inheriting something from your parents or relatives while showing skills during your work in your relatives's company or something might also be considered "winning".

So, I think you can vote if that is the case.

Is it an Austrian or "Euro" thing to put the currency after the amount? I've never seen this in the US (or, for that matter, any Anglophone country).

Most likely, yes. I write it as I speak it. I've never done it the other way round.
