What time do you think it will be called tonight?

If the actual numbers are what PPP's final night was yesterday (40-26 for Newt), then it will be called pretty early.

If the exit poll is true, my last prediction is not too bad (the earlier prediction would be even better).

That's not what I'm hearing, lol

He's not saying right now, but I somehow don't think he stays in much longer than 10 days.

BTW, Tender...it's nice for me to finally watch primary coverage at a normal evening time. Shame I'm only here for SC and FL... Smiley

You are in the US right now ? Here it's already 2am .... Tongue

US elections should be held on Saturdays all the time IMO.

BTW:

Are the Super Tuesday states WTA or PR ?

Because if WTA, Gingrich could have more delegates than Romney there with GA, OK and TN alone, even without winning OH.

I think everything before April 1 is PR.

Well then, Newt's failure to get on the VA ballot will really annoy him ...

And because much more Independents voted this time, Republican turnout is actually down compared with 2008.

Looks like they changed the numbers: Looks more like 550-560.000 now.

2012:

550.000 turnout (71% Republicans acc. to Exit Poll) -> ca. 390.000 Republicans turned out

2008:

450.000 turnout (80% Republicans acc. to Exit Poll) -> ca. 360.000 Republicans turned out

White Independents in SC are not particularly Democratic-friendly, something we tend to forget.

How do we know these Indies are white ? Could be Dem-leaning Independents this time who vote in the GOP primary to elect the Newt.
