Open primaries/caucuses are a joke. Why would you let Democrats participate in a Republican presidential primary/caucus, especially in a year when the Democratic incumbent is running unopposed? That does not even make sense.

I'm going to bed. When I wake up, Colorado will either be in the Romney column, or we're going to have to annihilate Santorum's campaign too. There is no way to stop Romney, and this is only helping Obama's chances...

You mad, bro?

Romney's speech in CO should be pretty funny if they lose there too.

Mitt has his cracked out "I just had my ass handed to me" look on his face. I love it.

Paul is carrying several counties in Minnesota now.

It sounds like something is stuck to the roof of Romney's mouth.

Looks like someone tried to attack Romney and was rushed out.

Is the turnout in Colorado really this low? What the hell is going on?

Only 18% of precincts are in.  And the most populated parts of the state haven't reported yet.

Most counties that have reported still seem to be way, way down from 2008 though.

Is the vote coming in so slowly because they're throwing Santorum's votes out? That would help explain the horrible turnout too.

Will Colorado be called pretty soon, do you think? Or will it turn into an Iowa?

I doubt it'll turn into another Iowa but it's probably going to be a while before they call it.

Romney leads 39%-35% now.

The Gingrich-Paul undercard in CO looks very close too.

Looks like February 7th is a day that will live in infamy for the Mittbots.

It's definitely not a good night for us Mittbots.

Funny, Politico went to bed early and we haven't heard a peep out of Winfield.  I'm a Romney supporter, but I'm not licking my wounds, I'm gearing up for a reset on the campaign over the next three weeks.

You're not a real Romney supporter though. You won't even let him in your house.

Gingrich should edge Paul out in CO if the GOP Party Chair's results are accurate.

What was the final turnout in both Minnesota and Colorado compared to 2008? Anyone know?

Absolutely dire.

Nonsense.

Colorado's 2012 vote was 94% of the 2008 vote.  Minnesota's 2012 results aren't all in, but they will likely be worse than that, probably somewhere in the mid 80s.

That's quite bad.
