The amazing thing is that it might actually help Peterson.

The seat was always bordering between Likely R and Safe R anyway, and it doesn't appear Hunter has underperformed much at all.

And that is the correct rating until we have any sufficient information to change it.

I do not understand how all the turmoil in the Democrat Party is helpful to Democrats.

I have no clue what "turmoil" you're talking about. The only "turmoil" in the party is a few dozen people on twitter (which most Americans don't even use) who can't stop re-litigating the 2016 primary.

The GOP had a lot more turmoil with the Tea Party primaries in 2010, and it didn't prevent them from having a huge wave.

Literally everybody here knows this. You can't ignore that he regrets voting for Trump, and that voting for Trump certainly won't hurt him in a 73-23 Trump seat.

I would reckon the majority of registered Ds in WV-03 voted for Trump, honestly.

I don't know why people are getting themselves so worked up over ratings in June, honestly.

It's pretty bearish for Dems, but we're still about 4 and a half months away from the big day.

Something to look out for in NY-11 primary but there is also a conservative ballot as well that Grimm and Donavan are on so there is a chance that both men could be on the ballot this November

Is there a sore loser law in NY?

Dems have a very good candidate, Brat is probably not the best Republican for D-trending district (someone like Comstock would be better), and Stewart on the ballot will not help here.
still, that is a really R district. I'd be surprised if he lost
Kaine will probably win it though, and those coattails could help. I do get why one would be skeptical, given that even Northam lost it by 3.7% while winning statewide by 8.9%.

So Cook thinks we have a better shot at VA-07 than PA-01? I don't buy that at all.

Most disgusting quarterly report to ever be filed.

$4.9 million for a House race? That’s just stupid.

According to www.politics1.com, the Democrats now have a candidate in Louisiana-5 (today is the filing deadline.)

District 5:
Ralph Abraham (R)* - (Campaign Site)
Billy Burkette (I) - Choctaw Tribal Council Chair/Chief of Police, Businessman & '16 Candidate
Jessee Fleenor (D) - Farmer
Kyle Randol (Libertarian) - Legal Assistant

http://www.politics1.com/la.htm

So, this means the Democrats will be running 432 candidates in 2018.

What are the districts where they have no candidate?

Per Ballotpedia, they are CA-8, GA-8, MI-1, and NC-3.  There are 38 districts with no Republican candidate.  Source

Should note that GA-8 is only uncontested because Fred Swann dropped out to run for Agriculture Commissioner (which would've been left uncontested itself had Swann stayed put).

MI-1 is uncontested because our only primary candidate got DQ'd from being on the ballot due to signature issues, but he'll get the nomination via write-in most likely.

The "experts" strike again!

Apparently VA-Sen is "competitive" and MO, IN, ND, and NV are all more likely to flip than Arizona.

PA being competitive is laughable too. Casey is ahead by 15+ in literally every non-Surveymonkey poll. Even in those surveymonkey polls, he is way ahead.

Still Safe R.

Sure, King is undoubtedly a racist and one of the biggest HPs in Congress. However, his racist views aren't unpopular in his district.
