Ohio cabinet all-white for the first time since 1962!

Actually, it would be refreshing if we lived in a society wherein appointments could be made to deserving and honorable people without regard to their race or ethnic background. I suppose it has never been like that in the USA. If a governor's cabinet in a state as large as Ohio is all white, I'd say it may be a good sign that meritocracy has actually been achieved. On the other hand, it may be a sign that the governor is a raging bigot who does not want to work with those savage, inferior beings from non-European stock. Neither of those possibilities seems particularly likely, though. I'd say this governor, like all governors, probably gives jobs to his friends. In this case, they just happen to all be white. Nothing particularly newsworthy about that, but I suppose you could spin it any way you want.
