Atlanta would be the best choice to host the 2020 DNC, IMO.

Why are so many of you saying that it "NEEDS" to be in Milwaukee?

The 2012 DNC was in North Carolina and Obama lost NC.

The 2016 DNC was in Pennsylvania and Hillary lost PA.

The convention doesn't "need" to be in Milwaukee. As long as the Democratic candidate visits Wisconsin a few times, we should be fine.

Whatever city they decide I will be fine with though.

LOL, I agree.

However, I was talking about winning Wisconsin not necessarily the election as a whole.

But, and this is a big one, Milwaukee is a better city than Miami and Houston in terms of weather, beer, and cheese.

Win, Win, Win.
Weather? LOL.

Anyways, like I said, I'll fine with any of the 3 cities. I just don't think that it "needs" to be in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee does has better weather than Houston and Miami... in July. The average high is only 80 and it won't be as humid as the swamplands of either Houston or Miami. It'd be a different story if we were talking about January.

Fair enough.

Someone wants the convention to be a Third Way coronation in the glitzy beaches of Miami. Ha.
I hope you're not talking about me. If you are, then I don't know what you're talking about because I'm not a "Third Way" Democrat.

Also, coronation? What is wrong with you?

I agree that the convention ultimately has little to no impact on an election but I think the optics of what city it takes place in is important. Milwaukee is more beneficial in that department.
Fair enough.

Milwaukee would be WAY BETTER of a choice for weather and climate alone. Who tf wants to be in Texas in late summer??? When you can be in a northern city on the coast of a large lake instead?
Yeah but nobody really goes to Milwaukee to vacation. Also, Houston is the 4th most populous city in America. It would be a much bigger spotlight.

I would be fine if the 2020 DNC was held in either Houston or Milwaukee. Definitely not Miami though.
