Michael Steele if he loses is probably the most remarkable candidate I've ever seen and is certainly a possible presidential nominee

If Tester loses he also will show potential in taking Baucus seat when he retires or the governor's mansion

Canidates who are smoked if they lose include Bob Menendez and Jim Webb

This goes w/o saying, although I think more as governor in 09' as Christie is a shoo-in as the next senator in 2008, could someone even try to offer a reason why the most respected NJ politician would lose?
