Her statement was basically saying that some Muslims did something that all Muslims essentially got blamed for. That's not at all untrue, because after 9/11 you did have Muslims being attacked and even Sikhs were attacked after being mistaken for Muslims.

Thats exactly the point, and describing the 9/11 attacks like that is totally disrespectful
So is a congressman asking the father of two children killed in a hate crime about violence in Islam...which is precisely the result of the point Omar was making.
These are the people that represent us...the majority representative sum of who we are as a nation. Boy aint that sure sum’in ter be proud of!
