Certainly some ageism. But its hard to blame them when you realize just how old the democratic leadership is.

Democratic leadership never wastes an opportunity to flip off progressives.

I wouldnt really call Jeffries a middle finger to progressives. He may have some centrist views but hes young and his progressive voting record is nothing to scoff at.

Jeffries was a co-sponsor of bill H.R.676. Or more commonly known as the "Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act".

Just because Jeffries is vocal about improving the ACA doesnt mean he's opposed to Medicare for all. I saw Cenk Uygur making the same claim on twitter, its a bold faced lie.
