The last thing America needs is its own Macron. It's absolutely insane for a so called left wing party to nominate a Wall St lackey.

Remember that this forum really underestimated Beto in 2018 and I wouldn’t be surprised if y’all’re doing it again this year.

Yes, because a former three term Congressman who lost a Senate race to one of the most unpopular politicians in the country screams President.

Yes, because one of the least effective senators from one of the whitest, smallest states who lost a primary to one of the most unpopular politicians in the country does scream president?

Beto had brogressive credentials until he was a threat to St. Bernard. I’ll never forget Shadows proclamation that Beto was the most progressive politician in the country. Now he’s a right wing neoliberal cuck.

What disingenuous garbage. It wasn't until after the election that left wing journalists began to seriously dig into Beto's record and find out how awful he is (and were off course set upon by the corporate brigade of Tanden/Brock). TYT had to issue a video basically apologizing for not vetting Beto properly before interviewing him.

The idea that "brogressives" would have supported a Democrat that voted to deregulate Wall St if Bernie wasn't in the equation is either intellectual dishonesty or plain stupidity. Progressives clearly weren't aware he was a fraud at the time.

el oh el.

Has Saint Bernard still not released his tax returns? What's he hiding?

You deflect because you can't defend your dime store Macron voting to deregulate Wall St. Or maybe you're just another pro-choice Republican and like Wall St?

Beto might be the most repulsive person running, though it's hard to beat Booker at that game.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/07/politics/beto-orourke-israel-netanyahu/index.html

Quote
"That relationship, if it is to be successful, must transcend partisanship in the United States, and it must be able to transcend a prime minister who is racist, as he warns about Arabs coming to the polls, who wants to defy any prospect for peace as he threatens to annex the West Bank, and who has sided with a far-right, racist party in order to maintain his hold on power," O'Rourke said.

O'Rourke continued, saying he did not believe Netanyahu "represents the true will of the Israeli people" or the "best interests" of the relationship between the US and Israel. He went on to endorse a two-state solution to achieve peace between Israel and the Palestinians.
