Unfortunately, many states didn't ask this or didn't have a statistically significant result. Of those mapped, every state except Conn. had white Catholics more Democratic than white Protestants. Could Conn. have been a statistical anomaly?

CNN has it 51-49, so I suppose it's within the margin of error.

Also, I assume the question wasn't asked in Massachusetts?

It was, but somehow the results weren't statistically significant enough to be shown.
