Warner and Huckabee both appeal to the same sort of populist voters. New England Liberals would hold their nose and vote for Warner, evangelicals were flock to polling places to vote for Huckabee, delivering him the south. In swing states, it would be close in a 50-50 election, but in an election favouring the Democrats, Warner will do very well.
Huh? No way, Warner has much more pull than Huckabee does. Warner would be easily seen as an intellectual, business-type Democrat, as much as a southern one and that is the beauty of his candidacy. He would probably create an huge coaltion has president but of course I think Liberal would be pretty apathetic to a President Warner.
