It’s only 11 or 12 miles outside of a midsize city and only a couple miles away you can see the city center, complete with fancy 500 foot tall buildings. However between there and the house I grew up in was the state fair grounds and concert area. The lots vary from your regular city sized single family lot to those that are 20 or 30 of those parcels. A lot of Oak trees, palmettos, fire ants, and a big autistic ass Trump flag in one front yard. I wonder how well exactly 4 Chan kids and rednecks actually get along.

So… It’s kind of like where the suburbs become the exurbs I guess. Where I live now 12 miles is still very much the inner suburbs. Basically where the uptown area starts to become the suburbs.
