Voted for Steyer. His policies are pretty liberal, but a billionaire who bought his way into the debates seems like the antithesis of socialism.
Once he was the nominee and kept talking about wealth taxes on billionaires, they'd come around. Part of the left-wing hatred of Steyer is that they don't know anything about him other than that he's a billionaire.
Well I'm not a Sanders supporter so I can't speak for them, but personally I think it would set a terrible precedent to elect two billionaires in a row. I don't want presidential politics to become the exclusive playground of billionaires.
