I much preferred this year to 2008.  Everything just seemed more interesting and entertaining than the show China put on.

NBC did as much coverage for Palestine as they did many other countries.  And, of course, the IOC refused to hold a moment of silence for the anniversary of the terrorist attack on Israeli athletes.
