Ok, so you're citing Don Jr.'s own statement as verification of a fake news post from a website with no domain name.

Look, I can go online and find both a statement from Alex Jones that Sandy Hook was a false flag operation and a post on a blog making the same comment. None of that would actually be salient.

It's going to be interesting to see how shameless, absurd lying like a 5-year-old works when you don't have the following or charisma of your father.

what is not disputed is that the meeting was set up following an offer of oppo research info on Clinton, the person in question turned out not to have the oppo research info and talked about something else, the meeting ended.

Are you joking? Anything that relies on Don Jr.'s statements this weekend is disputed, not least because he has disputed everything he said previously when new info comes out and he revises his comments.

Remember that the sources are coming from the WH, which means they are trying to get ahead of the story.

It is going to get far worse.

I'm liking the theory that Kushner is throwing DT Jr. under the bus here.

Democrats say they want to "follow the facts wherever they lead". That's complete BS. They already came up with the conclusion that Trump is a traitor and they have been trying to make the facts fit their narrative.

The news about Jr.'s meeting with the Russians to collude on digging up dirt on Clinton came from White House sources, not the Democrats.

You guys realize your "collusion" narrative is hilarious since no one is better at digging up dirt than the Clintons, right?  They're just smarter about it.  Every campaign has a dirt digging operation, from your local councilman to the top doggie.

What's illegal is working with a foreign country to do it, Gramps, considering they get their information by spying on the U.S. "Collusion" doesn't mean "digging up dirt," it refers to working with people.

The Trumps were too naive and careless to realize what they were doing with the Russians was both illegal and treasonous.

So seeing how the Saturday story was briefed by 'White House Advisors' I do wonder if they know this was all going to leak, and were simply trying to somehow get ahead of it, and just drop Don Jnr in it

DTJ had forwarded the email to Kushner, so Kushner was able to leak it and point the spotlight to him.

Do you think the Russians really thought Trump was a kindred spirit or are they just cucking us by cucking the Trumps?

Having a U.S. President who is literally an agent of the Kremlin is too much for even Putin to ask. Of course he'd be happy with electing a heavily compromised idiot.

One major reason GOP operatives will not let Trump stay in power past 2019...

But what can they do about it? Unless Trump's base abandons him, impeachment will be a bloodbath where Trump fights them every step of the way, and he isn't stepping down on his own from the most powerful position in the country.

Wow Trump really is digging himself deeper today in Paris: "anyone would of taken that meeting" are you serious?

He's not wrong, you see.

There are tons of quotes from elected officials saying they would have called the FBI if they were approached by a foreign power. It's possible they're all lying, but there isn't actually a past record of this happening all the time, probably because it's not only clearly illegal but you have to be as naive as DTJ to think it wouldn't expose them to blackmail by the Russians and be found out eventually anyway.

I thought it was in dispute whether she was a Russian attorney, or an attorney for Russia?

This is what Goldstone wrote in his email. Whether or not V-----aya has deniability or not about her ties to the Kremlin—and that deniability is considered fictional given that she lobbies for the gov't's interests—the info was presented as coming from the gov't.
