Watch the video.  At first glance (and how the article and video is slanted) is that the dude went way way overboard.  Clearly the chicks F-ed up and will deserve whatever conviction they end up getting, but did they deserve broken bones and a bashed skull?  Would it make a difference if he was telling them to not get up and they kept trying to get up?  They were drunk and anybody could potentially be caring a weapon of some kind, in the heat of the situation it can be hard to tell when a threat stops becoming a potential threat.  I always give the benefit of the doubt to the person minding his/her own business when through no fault of their own assholes start giving him/her sh**t and him/her takes care of the situation using as much or as little violence they thought the situation demanded while they were there in the middle of the situation.  But obviously there is (and should be) a line.  Did this dude cross it?

So, huh, thoughts?

He did crack a skull.  He did a dime for murdering a fellow classmate when he was in High School.  But it was a two on one attack on a dude doing his job though.  He didn't know they didn't have weapons and they were drunk/on drugs and clearly belligerent.
