Obviously, but we certainly shouldn't replace it with a "Yay, drugs are AWESOME!!!" policy.

Oh come on. Surely you're familiar with the kind of discourse that's popular these days among the most hip and kewl sections of the left.

I'm with Tony on this one. It's not a majority or even a plurality, but there is a decent sized pro-drug contingent on the forum, and it's not just the libertarians.
I'm not seeing it.  Name names!  Are even the libertarians pro-drugs?  Being against something being illegal doesn't mean you necessarily want to have people doing it.  Do pro-choice people want more abortions?  Sure, maybe a couple of weirdos, but for the other 98% of them?  You shouldn't go to jail for doing meth, but nobody should do meth.  You shouldn't go to jail for heroin, but very few people should do heroin.  I do think more people should be smoking pot, snorting coke and trippin balls though Wink

And that's what I was referring to.
I don't think everybody should do them all, but some people could really stand to calm down with a few bong hits a couple of times a day.  Obviously not for everybody though.  Some people seem to enjoy being uptight.
