This poll should have a third option - "fervent pro-Israel apologists". If this place is anything to go by, the harm they do to their own cause is pretty high.

Quite a few such people are motivated by accelerationism and "heightening the contradictions" - but has that approach ever actually worked? Anywhere??

Regardless of what's happening with I-P, the anti-nuclear movement has undoubtedly been the single greatest gift to the fossil fuel industry in the last 50 years.

Yes, and it’s interesting how many regret it, my parents protested nuclear power in the seventies and today, they mostly see it as them being on the wrong side of the issue.

Tbf there is an argument that nuclear power was genuinely more dangerous back then - one thing the widespread opposition did was force the industry to up its game.
