It's not in any state, but if it was, it would be Oregon.  Matt Groening is from Oregon, his dad is named Homer, his mom Marge, his grand pa is Abe.  Clearly Matt=Bart.

That seems plausible. Oregon has mountains and a sea shore, tornadoes and blizzards.

Oregon doesn't have tornadoes.
