I think you're underestimating how singularly bad Brakey is. Dude isn't just a substandard candidate, he's a weird human being. Like, Denver Riggleman is weird, but he's at least managed to spin it in a funny way.

Yes, 2010 is a case in point: the number of fruitcases who got swept in by the strength of the R+18 swing is baffling.
Eh, I don't know about that. There have been a ton of weirdos who were swept into the House by their district's partisan winds.
