More than anything else, I find it astonishing that Donald Trump is a president who apparently has no clear opinion on this important issue and has yet to form one...

Getting out only to negotiate for better terms and get back in. This makes no sense.

Ivanka was for staying in, while Stevie Bannon was in favour of getting out. So, they're getting a compromise.

I'm still a bit confused as to whether Trump intends to abide to or violate Article 28 of the Paris Agreement:

Which means that the United States could leave the Agreement no earlier than November 4, 2020. The New York Times reports that his administration will abide to that stipulation, Trump's speech implies that it won't. Then again, time has shown that you can't take Trump always literally when he's chest-thumping.

Trump wins again! What an amazing President.

The downside being that a win for a Trump is a always a loss for humanity, of course.

What's Kimberly Guilfoyle's qualification to discuss climate change with the president? Not her striking scientific expertise. It's the fact that she agrees with him. Donald Trump doesn't want expertise, he wants affirmation.

With his decision to leave the Paris Agreement, Donald Trump has also decided to render him self politically irrelevant on the world stage. It's ironic...he wanted to look tough, but he only made himself weaker. Trying to excercise hyper-dominant masculinity will only take you so far, and it a certain point it becomes a dead end.

Sure, keep dreaming. No U.S. president is ever "politically irrelevant on the world stage."

Up to this point this was true. But not anymore.
