I've actually heard someone suggest Lincoln Chafee for the Democrats. I've also heard Michael Steele for the Republicans.

I guess Bayh isn't unrealistic so much as stupid. We'd lose a senate seat for someone who would add nothing to the ticket

Indiana's electoral votes would be a possibility.

You are aware that Indiana has only went Democratic once in the last 58 years?
