He described North Carolina as a "swing state".  WRONG, Bush won it by 16% 12%.  There would have to be a MASSIVE swing to get it into the Obama aisle, especially since it is a pretty conservative state.  Do you agree?

fixed.

Ronnie can we agree that North Carolina will at least trend democrat this year? Like you said Reps had a 12 point win there last time and it was R+5 if I am remembering correctly. Would you agree that NC may only be R+3 or 4 this election cycle. I think if Obama wins the election by a good 6 to 7 points he could pick up NC. I know not likely to happen but certainly not impossible. Also whites in NC voted marginally more Obama than in PA so the map could end up looking a little weird this year.

AHDuke on that lower map of yours, I see no reason to award Washington, Maine and Minnesota to Obama. Just make them blue too! As New Jersey goes, so go they. Obviously this scenario assumes Wright's book comes out in October, and he tells all, yes all of it!  Smiley

Washington is not one of the intolerant states. Rev. Wright BS doesnt work there.
