I haven't seen this much red on the maps since......the 2004 elections with John Kerry!

Better get used to it...or rather blue when it comes to other media outlets.

Yes, I'm used to the hackish left wing media propping up their inexperienced marxist candidate.

Atleast you don't pretend to hide your ignorance...just wear it out there on your sleeve along with your confederate flag. Very noble of you.

I'm optimistic that Obama can win but I'm not confident. He's had a lot thrown at him and he's still standing, which is good, but the GOP-aligned smear and fear machine hasn't even started yet

Dave

The difference right now is that Obama went through a tough primary and I believe did a good job fighting the smears there. This is a Democratic year with millions of new Democratic voters and a bad war and economy going against the GOP. Once the Dems start running their ads highlighting McCain's blunders ("Iraq for 100 years" and "I don't know too much about the economy") it should be a fun fall (albeit nailbiting)

Marxist? LOL Grin

Yep, his stances on the issues are directly contrary to the constitution and freedom. Do you realize the tax hikes he will put on the American people plus his folks want to re-introduce the "fairness" doctrine. I thought liberals were for free speech?

Tax hikes on those making over $1 million dollars isn't going to make me lose any sleep at night.

That attitude is exactly the problem. Who are you to take away 60% of a wealthy persons income. What right does the obnoxious federal govt have to do that?

The federal government has an obligation to all its citizens to provide leadership that will help everyone. Bush's tax cuts do little to help the poor/middle class people in our country and do an awful lot to prop up the already rich and divide our country even more than it already is. The rich aren't the ones fighting for our freedom, it's the poor and the middle class. We need to ensure that their children, and their children's children don't live in a country and a world that is worse off than it is today. We have a massive federal debt and owe too much money to too many bad people. By raising taxes by a small margin on the wealthiest of Americans, we are doing our part to limit the deficit and to create programs to help aid those in need.

And the obnoxious federal government? There are times when we're fifty states and there are times when we're one country. Florida didn't fight Germany in World War II or establish civil rights. But Florida gets billions in dollars of federal money every year from every other state. Billions of dollars that helps to fund your education and health care system.

I'd personally like to see a matchup and map if the candidates were DownWithTheLeft and EvilMexicanDictator...

Obama wins, but the GOP is content with saying F U to the country.
