Ya I think Hawley basically turned a potential negative into a nothingburger by going after Greitens. It obviously won’t help him though since Greitens will damage the GOP in Missouri either way.
Agreed. McCaskill was really tying Hawley to Greitens until the past week or so. It has died off now that Hawley has gone against the governor. It would have only gotten worse.

want some (non gravis) polling before I make any ratings changes
I don't imagine it'll have much short-term effect, but long-term it should help Hawley a bit since McCaskill won't be able to tie them together as effectively.

Democrat Lauren Arthur won a special election in the northland - this is a PICKUP for Democrats and she won by 20 (!!!) points. To give you an idea on how big this is, the Republican incumbent won this race in 2016 62-37. Greitens is really dragging down the Republican ticket, it is a matter of whether they're able to reverse the bleeding by November.

Race Change: Toss-Up -> Lean McCaskill
