Quite remarkable, yeah.

I'm not sure I see it though. Infact, I think odds of both those candidates are probably too high. I'm not sure either will get an outright majority and both are seen as too much of wing candidates to win a brokered convention, I guess. Depends on whether a brokered convention tries to come up with some sort of compromise candidate, which I would be all for (except if it is Warren).

Will Bloomberg get to bring his own box to stand on, or will one be provided for him?
I will continue to believe Trump and Sanders supporters are the different sides of the same coin.

And that's why we'll beat him: real populists beat faux populists every day of the week!
That's just not true. Right wing populism has pretty consistently beaten left wing populism around much of the world in recent years.

He is finished. Never should have blown $400 million
I just hope that half a billion at least helped to smear Trump a bit.

He has an estimated net-worth of 60 billion.

If the median American family spent the equivalent sum, based on their net-worth of $97,300 in an attempt to buy the presidency they would be spending $648. Bloomberg is attempting to buy the presidency of The United States for the price of a budget flat screen TV at Best Buy.
...and even that is a poor analogy since that family would actually notice that missing $648, whereas Bloomberg could literally spend $59 billlion on the election and it wouldn't change his life one iota.
