Asking this after the news about Cueller
Biden + 7.0 Clinton + 19.2 Obama + 21.8
This district voted for Biden in 2020 but was significantly closer than previous years. The district is over 70% Hispanic, and has relatively low educational attainment. There's a pretty massive divide between the border part of the district and metro San Antonio part as exposed by past primary results.
In general, the border communities of this district have had the most brutal trends for Dems; this district contains Starr County which swung over 55% to the right from 2016-->2020 Pres!
The San Antonion portion is more of a mixed bag - the core Hispanic areas south of downtown have generally not had great shifts for Dems, but some of the suburbs to the northwest and in Guadalupe County have been shifting left.
