Chris Daggett, former Kean deputy chief of staff, running as an Independent.

http://daggettforgovernor.com/wordpress/about/

I'm kinda worried that all of these independents running are going to take away the Anti-Corzine vote from Christie.

From his "issues" page:

"We keep losing middle-income families to Pennsylvania because our property taxes are too high, retirees to Florida and Wyoming because of high income and estate taxes, and young people because they cannot find jobs or afford homes."

Which one of these things doesn't belong?
well im sure Wyoming does get some retirees especially around the jackson hole area its hardly a main destination.

maybe its actually Tim Kaine trying to get lonegan to win the primary so corzine has a better chance of winning in the general. of course that's kinda ridiculous but not really anymore than a lonegan supporter doing it.

I'm actually halfway Republican and halfway Libertarian. I've been that way since 2005.

A Lonegan primary win could put me over into the Libertarian Party.

Uh...why?

Why would Lonegan - a libertarian Republican - winning the GOP primary push you - a libertarian - away from the GOP to the Libertarian party?
is lonegan a libertarian on anything besides economics? not that your point isnt somewhat valid.

Lonegan is not a libertarian.

He is also a 'holier than thou' type.

How is he not a libertarian? The only social conservative viewpoint he has (to my knowledge) is that he's opposed to abortion.

He's pro-death penalty and really, really, REALLY against "fag marriage," too.  And he's opposed to euthanasia and drug legalization.  I'm kinda wondering what libertarian social views he has.
reading his wiki he also tried to get English made as the official language of Bogota hardly a libertarian position in forcing businesses to have their signs only in English.

The last poll already had it Christie+6.

I expect something tie-ish (1-2% Christie lead maybe).
eh i dont think corzine has improved his own image enough to make it a tie but i can see him being a couple points closer to Christie.
