MFP Ted Bessell resigned his seat as he was elected to the House of Representatives. The selection of a permanent replacement will be July 24–26. (In the meantime, former First Minister Scott has been appointed to serve in the interim.)

I have just taken the extraordinary step of joining a federal party so maybe I could register with a regional party as well.

Since Kuumo just deregistered and he was the only the other member I may as well disband "Brothers of Frémont" - not that regional party affiliation ever mattered.
