Pending that the vote does not flip in the next few hours, I encourage the House to consider adopting the Senate version.

Seeing as how there appears to be no more debate, we will now move to a 72-hour vote.
Is the house voting on the Senate version or original House version

Nay, on the grounds that they is a plural pronoun, whereas the pronouns that this bill would replace (He, she) are singular pronouns.
a) considering you've said literally nothing about this up to now, this seems like an excuse
b) it's also pure nonsense: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=history+of+singular+they

I had a college paper marked wrong because I used they as a singular pronoun. I stand by my nay vote and the grammatical existence of they as a plural pronoun.

your professor was wrong.

their, in this sense, is in reference to the governing bodies of the hospitals. Plural.

nah, bru, you wrote "the governing body of each hospital", not "the governing bodies of each hospital". (and ofc you're ignoring all the other examples)
