This why Congress should introduce legislation banning tackle football.

I wish I could say this is the worst post this year, but I'm afraid it may not even be in the 5 worst sports related ones given some of the things I have come across.

Man, don't you hate when people get those 'Worst Post of the Month' entries in at the last possible minute:

BRTD wants to hold something like that against a girl half his age, but what's his excuse for all his weird, nonsensical posts?

Well, I can buy alcohol...

So you're the forum's proverbial drunk driver, makin' a mess and ruining lives? Good to know.
how can one "ruin a life" on a message board?  I suppose some people are so emotionally fragile that it could happen, but those people are kind of "ruined" already and were just waiting for the trigger... it's not the fault of the message board or whatever poster did the triggering.  Like those people that don't know they have a weak heart until they ride a roller coaster and die.  It's not the fault of the coaster that they died.

Ignorance can be amusing. Creepiness is discomforting and always unwelcome. I would hope our community can take a stand against that.

When are people going to realize Santander isn't actually a terrible person and just says those kinds of things to incite reactions from people?

I dunno, his hatred of everything Chinese seems pretty legit to me.

You can't be labeled -ist against your own people

Well if you're correct then that'll just be sad. Like sadder than Reaganfan sad. (I always thought Santander was Indian though, is he?)

I can confirm he is 100% not Indian LOL

Yea! Why let inconvenient facts get in the way of conspiratorial thinking instead of attacking content! Right on!

Religion is a positive influence on society SmileySmileySmiley
I know a lot of people do actually have a sense of morality that is informed by religion, so in that case it could have some positive impact.
No religious person has ever done a good deed that an atheist couldn't also have done. However, a lot of religious people do horrible things that an atheist obviously would not do. Religion is a cancer on society in nearly all cases.

Take out the part about religion being a cancer on society and my comment is objectively true. you never see atheists murdering LGBT people or committing suicide attacks. sure faith might lead some people to do decent things, but that doesn't balance out all the atrocious things that religion has lead people to do, especially when an atheist like me could do any good deed a Christian could do without the scientifically inaccurate and borderline stone age beliefs.

I would say atheists probably frequently kill LGBT people in this country. Specifically for that. Toxic masculinity and all that heathen trash. Those go together like two people of the same ethnicity.

You of course can do no good in this world.

Not interested in anything beyond the high school diploma that I currently have.

Are you White?  Does this mean you will become a GOP base voter?!

I'd argue that in politics, "educated" refers more to intelllectual curiosity than it does to formal schooling.

Hey Sanchez, let's say, hypothetically, that you are a "fine" person and you had an opportunity to attend the protest against the statute removal, would you have stuck around if you saw the tiki march?  Or when you showed up for the day event and saw all the Aryan symbols and battleshields?  Would you have just stayed in the imaginary cordoned off area for "fine" protestors?

I mean, let's be real, he would've been carrying a torch himself. And he's not the only person on Atlas who wishes he was there.

I'm certain some very fine posters were indeed in attendance!

Bullet voting "none of the above" because I think books are lame.

Adding, because it explains a lot of this thread.

The left-wing position on this: It's sad he's dead. People shouldn't have made fun of him for being gay.

The right-wing position on this: It's sad he's dead. His parents shouldn't have molested him. It's also messed up that the media will help them cover up their crimes because they came up with an excuse that furthers the PC narrative.

Literally no one is happy that this kid is dead though. It's a tragedy no matter what your political views.
