Other sources have found this page in the yearbook. Unfortunately it looks like this is real.

So if this is real, then pretty soon, people will say X fake news site reported this, so the next thing they report must be real too. If they had sources on one thing, then that validates everything they do! This is the world we live in.

So you’re saying A) Northam was the one in the Klan robe or B) He didn’t have the same pants on in both pictures.  How does that suggest he wasn’t in the picture?

Why would a same-party operative seem less credible than someone trying to steal a seat for political gain whose claims were refuted by all cited friends and not believed by her own father?

We already know the media sat on the Northam yearbook story because they were too lazy to corroborate by making a 2 hour drive? (i.e., didn't want to implicate him and risk Ed Gillespie)

But do tell exactly what sounds incredible about these claims to you. As far as I know, there is little substance to even begin to make a judgement.

Uhh, I'm speaking of the fact that she contacted the Washington Post about this more than a year ago as they have confirmed. The first mention of his name was not all of a sudden when Ralph Northam was about to resign allowing Fairfax to ascend. There is no conceivable motive to spread false rumours about a powerless lieutenant governor who was not even considered the obvious 'next in line' to be governor. It would be a bit sketchy if the first mention of his name was yesterday as he was potentially ascending to the governorship and the Democratic Party was trying to determine if the guy in front of him needed to step down on a quick timeline. But yesterday was not the first mention of this by name. We have a record.

This story hasn't gotten a lot of attention as the blackface story.

No one ever cares about the second thing as much as the first. And as Ralph Northam is clearly not going to resign, Justin Fairfax remains insignificant and potentially electorally toxic unless the voters determine otherwise. Northam on the other hand has no one to answer to but the overhyped concept of "public pressure"

And (hopefully) you'll never understand the hardship or stigma. Stop trying to apply logic to a very difficult situation. There are dozens of things that make it extremely difficult to come to terms with. In certain cases that may also involve significant backlash from supporters of the accused, which is really just an added bonus for cases that play out publicly (and it definitely happens in non-public cases too but to a lesser degree).

The accuser is doing her best to discredit herself, leaking to a shady RW website that already took down another Dem. Then having clowns like Wohl get involved, I just can’t see this as anything other than a hit job at this point.

I don't know how you expect her to suddenly get a press conference when mainstream media doesn't care about her or some random state official. As such, she mostly lives with it since it is not a notable newsworthy figure she has to deal with, and there is no way to get it out there. She has a private facebook account, so nobody knows if she has mentioned her own experiences. Her whole career is literally gender studies and sexual assault seminars, so I'd wager it's more likely than not she has at least spoken about it in generic terms in some arena. But it's not a stain if she didn't. Time may tell.

She did not ask these Twitter clowns to get involved. She really didn't even leak to the other source, who received the source from a 'private Facebook'. All she did was give them permission to post it. What was she supposed to do? No other source would take her seriously, and you literally are asking for her to get her message out by any means possible. But now that's not sufficient.
